Our Products
Please note that all of our Silk Flower Arrangements and Wedding Flowers are individually created and are not ‘off the shelf’ products, and are therefore made to order; these are usually dispatched within 3 days but this may be slightly longer depending upon stock levels. Other ‘in stock’ items will be dispatched within 48 hours. Where products contain candles, please note that they are for decorative purposes only and are not to be lit.
Prices and Promotions
We strongly believe our prices to be very competitive and as such we rarely offer discounts. We do however have a promotional offer of free delivery on Wedding Packages, and items with a combined total of £50 or over. We reserve the right to amend this offer at any time. All prices include VAT.
Images
We make every effort to ensure that the product images we show are accurate. Because our Silk Arrangements are hand made to order, the photographs shown are a representation of the display only; however, we endeavour to produce an accurate representation.
Delivery
We dispatch all our orders by Royal Mail’s 'Standard Parcels' service with delivery between 3-5 working days. If you wish to have your item delivered more quickly then it may be possible to send this by Royal Mail 24 / 48 hr service or ‘Special Delivery’ (depending upon size / weight) for an additional charge. Please call for details.
Overseas Delivery
The charges for overseas deliveries are dependent on country and weight; please email quote@silkflair.co.uk for more information or a specific quote. Also, please note that payment of additional local duty and taxes may be required in certain countries to enable receipt of the goods.
Returns
We understand that there may be an occasion whereby you need to return the goods to us. If this is the case then we ask that you email returns@silkflair.co.uk for a returns form.
If the return is due to damaged goods then you must notify us within 3 days of receipt (email will suffice), fill in the returns form and send the package back via recorded delivery. Once we have received and checked the item we will then offer a replacement or a full refund along with any additional posting costs that you have incurred.
If you need to return the item for any other reason, we offer a 14 day no quibble refund (minus our delivery charges) on stock items, as long as the item is returned to us in an unused condition along with the original packaging. You will however need to send the item back to us by recorded delivery and you will be responsible for the fees incurred for this. Once we have received and checked the item we will issue a refund. Due to the investment of time and specialist flowers, please note that we can only refund 50% of the value of bespoke items.
Payments
Making a payment to Silkflair is very simple and secure. We currently offer five payment methods; pay directly with your Credit / Debit card using 128bit secure server technology (using the most secure encryption methods); Google checkout - a distinct checkout flow that supports a number of payment types; PayPal for if you have a PayPal account; Nochex for if you have a Nochex account or want to use the Nochex card payment system, or you can simply send us a cheque (please allow time for the cheque to clear before dispatch). Whichever system you use you can be safe in the knowledge that the information will be 100% secure.
Privacy
You can browse our site without disclosing any personal data to us. We do not automatically log personal data nor do we link information automatically logged by other means with personal data about specific individuals. Cookies are placed / collected to monitor visits but not used to store personal data.
We will collect and store information about you to allow us to firstly, process and fulfil any order requirements and secondly to provide you with the best possible service. All information is collected lawfully and in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998.
The type of information that we will collect will include:
- Your title and name
- Billing address
- Delivery address
- Contact telephones numbers
- E-mail address
- Order and Payment details
Complaints
Please contact us immediately if there is any reason for complaint. We take all complaints very seriously and will endeavour to reply within 48hrs with a timescale and procedure on how to continue. Email: complaint@silkflair.co.uk
